Career Summary
A favorite personality in the professional peloton, German cyclist Jens Voigt has competed in and won stages in several major ProTour races including the Tour de France, Paris-Nice, the Criterium International, Dauphine Libere, and the Tour of Poland. He has worn the yellow jersey of the Tour de France and won the Tour of Germany, Criterium International, and Tour Mediterranean.In addition to his wins, Voigt is a dedicated domestique and helped Jan Ullrich in his 2000 Olymic win for the German team and Ivan Basso in the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia.
Voigt is the elected riders' representative to the UCI ProTour council for the Cyclistes Professionales Associes.
