Career Summary
Torsten Hiekmann got his start in riding cyclocross and won his national championships as a junior in 1996 and an amateur in 1997. He has since taken his talents to the road where he has appeared on the podium during Paris-Nice, the Route du Sud, and the Tour of Luxembourg.He won the junior world time trial championships in 1997 and the Best Young Rider classification at the 2001 Peace Race and the 2002 Sachsen Tour.
