Career Summary
Fabian Wegmann is Team Gerolsteiner’s young climbing star. He won the green mountains classification jersey at the 2004 Giro d’Italia and has worn the polka-dot mountains jersey of the Tour de France. In 2006, he won a stage of the Dauphine Libere and finished third in the Tour of Lombardy after a courageous performance.He returns to California hoping to improve on the second and fifth place stage finishes he had in 2006.
