Career Summary

Italian cyclist Matteo Tosatto has competed in all the major Tours and won a stage in the 2006 Tour de France and the 2001 Giro d’Italia.

One of the sport’s true workhorses, Tosatto has played a key support role with Fasso Bortolo for six years before coming to Quick Step-Innergetic.

In 2002, he almost completely destroyed his left arm when his car hit a wall. He has managed to come back from that career threatening injury to have several strong seasons.
