Career Summary

Michael Barry comes to T-Mobile as one of the best support riders in the pro peloton. A top domestique for the Discovery Channel and US Postal Service teams for the past five years, he supported Tom Danielson in his 2005 Tour de Georgia victory and Paolo Savoldelli in his Giro d’Italia win. He rode for the Canadian national team from 1992-2000, is a multi-time Canadian national champion and represented Canada in the 1996 and 2004 Olympics.

One of the most prolific writers in pro cycling, Barry writes for several cycling publications and has published 'Inside the Postal Bus,' and 'Fitness Cycling,' which he co-authored with his wife and world-class cyclist Dede Dement Barry and Dr. Shannon Sovndal.
