Career Summary
Australian cyclist Adam Hansen, known as the 'Crocodile Man,' has twice won the Crocodile Trophy, a two-week mountain bike race many consider the most grueling race on the planet. And yet he is not a top mountain biker but a former triathlete and talented cyclist with an incredible engine. Hansen’s tests with T-Mobile doctor Lothar Heinrich have produced impressive results and revealed his potential for world class performances. Not considered the most tactically savvy cyclist, Hansenhas been called dumb by some of his competitors. He rides by attacking repeatedly, driving breaks, and out powering others. His break through performance came with his surprising 4th place finish at the 2006 Australian Open Road Championships.
