| Poised for another winning season, the powerhouse Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team returns to the Tour of California in 2007. Last year, in its inaugural season, the domestic squad astounded competitors and fans alike claiming stage wins in Stages 1 and 4 of the grueling race. The team ended its first season with over 24 NRC wins to claim the number two spot on the NRC calendar in the U.S. The team brings fresh legs and new faces to the starting line this year, led by former U.S. National Road Champion Chris Wherry (USA) and lead out specialist Henk Vogels (AUS). With a few surprises in store, including dynamic team directors Harm Jansen and Kirk Willett, look for the stars and stripes of the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team in the sprint to the finish line. |
