Career Summary
Chris Stockburger was regarded as one of the best junior athletes in the sport of cycling thanks to his 11 junior national titles before entering the U23 ranks. He made a name for himself at the international level with a win in North America’s only UCI-sanctioned stage race, the Tour de l’Abitibi in Quebec in 2004.Stockburger began cycling competitively when he was 12 years old. He was introduced to the sport by his parents when they took him to the “Ride the Rockies”event in Colorado. The Boulder-based rider is also part of one of the top collegiate cycling programs in the nation at the University of Colorado – Boulder.
