Welcome to the Amgen Tour of California website.  Perhaps you were here last February when we made cycling history together by launching America's greatest new stage race.  Or maybe this is your first visit.  Either way, please bookmark us and tell your friends about us because we're already gearing up for next year's race.  This is THE official place to find out first-hand all the exciting race news and announcements as the second Amgen Tour of California prepares for lift-off in February 2007.  We had arguably the best collection of the world's best professional cyclists ever assembled to compete on U.S. roads and the second edition promises to eclipse the inaugural race.

Each week, we'll update you on the world of international and domestic road cycling with a focus on the riders and teams that participated in the first edition of the Amgen Tour of California.  We'll have monthly profiles and features on the race stars as well as go behind the scenes to speak with team directors, mechanics, and other insiders and personalities who help this rolling road show unfold seamlessly from the opening time trial prologue in Northern California to the lightning fast circuit race in Southern California and over the rolling roads and majestic mountain passes in between.
