Taylor Tolleson has a background as a competitive triathlete and natural talents as a cyclist. He is an X-Terra National and World Champion, having won both off-road triathlons in 2004. He finished second overall in the 2006 Amgen Tour of California’s Best Young Rider classification (losing the title by 10’42” to teammate Tom Peterson) and in 2007 posted 2 top ten U23 National Championship finishes. He has a strong finishing sprint and is being groomed to be a top classics racer.
