During the inaugural Amgen Tour in 2006, Team CSC won the team classification and had three cyclists finish in the final overall top ten with Dave Zabriskie taking second and Julich taking third overall. In 2007 Team CSC again won the teams classification and finished with four riders in the final overall top six. Voigt finished second after a stage win, and Julich, O'Grady and Christian Vande Velde finished fourth, fifth and sixth overall. On top of that Haedo won two sprinter stages. Also in 2007, Team CSC had two stage wins during the Tour de France with Sastre finishing fourth and Cancellara enjoying seven days in the yellow jersey. Sastre moved on to finish second overall in Vuelta a España later in the year, while Cancellara won the World Championship time trial for the second year in a row. Alexandr Kolobnev (RUS) and Fränk Schleck furthermore finished second and fourth in the world championship road race. With Cancellara and Haedo on the team, Team CSC will be looking for time trial and stage wins on the way to taking the overall team classification.
