Interesting Facts

Along with personal victories, Bobby Julich has also been a hard-working teammate and has ridden as a domestique for Team Telekom's Jan Ullrich and Team CSC's Ivan Basso. He is a strong time trialist and won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympic Time Trial Championships. In 1996, Julich was diagnosed and treated for Reentrant Supraventricular Tachycardia (RSVT), a condition that caused his heart to beat very fast, but was still able to become one of the United States' top competitors.
