Interesting Facts

Sidelined for much of 2007 after his team was prohibited from racing in France, Victor is ready to return to the action in 2008. In 2003 this strong all around rider led the Tour de France for three stages, and has also been the teammate of Tour de France winners Lance Armstrong and Floyd Landis. He has required bodyguard protection in his home country of Columbia to guard against abduction by communist guerrillas.
