Interesting Facts

Heath Blackgrove is a former Olympian and 12-time national champion, and achieved a breakthrough season in 2007, winning the Tour of Vinyards in his home country of New Zealand and placing 3rd at his National Road Championships. He seriously injured his knee at the Amgen Tour of California last season, but has rehabbed the injury since. Blackgrove is one of a select group of cyclists who have won the New Zealand Elite Road Championship more than once.
