Interesting Facts

This former Norwegian time trial champion is known for sprinting and time trialing and was the first Norwegian to wear the yellow jersey in the Tour de France. Before turning professional in 1998, Hushovd won the under-23 time trial world championship and the under-23 versions of Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Tours. His personal cycling goals for the 2009 season are to win the green jersey in the Tour de France, post a big Classics win and post a stage win at the Giro d'Italia. He's excited about joining the Cervelo Test Team squad it's a serious team with a good clean mentality. Thor's hobbies include hunting and skiing.
