Interesting Facts

As the reigning USA Cycling Time Trial Champion, David Zabriskie is one of cycling's best time trialists and has won stages in all three grand tours--the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana. He became the third American to ever wear the coveted Yellow Jersey of the Tour de France when, in 2005, he won the prologue and held the yellow jersey until his unfortunate crash in the team time trial. Zabriskie is known for his quirky nature, as he has been known to sing before stages and interview fellow riders in the professional peloton, which are posted on his homepage. One of his hobbies is salsa dancing.
