Interesting Facts

Andy has been riding for the Saxo Bank squad since 2005. He is the younger brother of Fränk Schleck, also on the squad. Their father Johnny Schleck rode the Tour de France and Vuelta a España between 1965 and 1974. At the Tour de France last season, Schleck impressed many with his exceptional riding in the mountains, working for Team CSC Saxo Bank and team leader Carlos Sastre. His efforts helped CSC win the team classification and Carlos Sastre the maillot jaune. There's sure to be much more to come from this relatively young rider.
