One of the most famous cities in the world, Beverly Hills symbolizes, style, glamour and an ideal way of life. Beverly Hills is located in the middle of Los Angeles County, surrounded by the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood. Within its 5.7 square mile area, Beverly Hills has approximately 34,000 residents and a business and commercial base that ranks next to cities with a population of several hundred thousand. The tree-lined streets and eclectic mansions have become the hallmark of the City, along with the famed Rodeo Drive and an array of first-class hotels. It is no wonder that Beverly Hills is a Mecca for the rich and famous and a beacon to travelers from around the globe.

Beverly Hills is gearing up to celebrate its 100th Anniversary in January of 2014. The 18-month celebration will begin in the summer of 2013 will feature events and displays commemorating its storied past, glamorous present and shining future.

Local Events

Saturday May 19 and Sunday May 20 is the spring Beverly Hills artSHOW, a biannual festival stretching four blocks of the stunning Beverly Gardens along Santa Monica Boulevard. Featuring works from over 240 outstanding, juried artists plus live music, beer and wine gardens, fine cuisine, fun food trucks and artistic demonstrations all in a lush garden setting, the artSHOW is a destination event. Runs 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. both days; admission is free.

Also Sunday, May 20, the Beverly Hills Farmers' Market is in full swing with live entertainment by the Panache Orchestra and all of the local and organic vendors Beverly Hills residents and visitors have come to love. From pristine berries and organic greens to eggs, meat and fish, the Market has 50+ farmers and 20+ vendors. Featuring a bevy of prepared food and cooked-to-order items, the Market is open 9 a.m - 1 p.m. and stretches the long block of 9300 Civic Center Drive. Free parking in the nearby Civic Center parking structure.
