The BMC Racing Team is a United States-registered UCI ProTeam title sponsored by Switzerland-based bicycle manufacturer BMC.

The 2012 roster features defending Tour de France champion Cadel Evans and a veteran supporting cast, as well as a host of talented newcomers that includes world No. 1-ranked and Belgian national road and time trial champion Philippe Gilbert. Surrounding them is a host of talent that includes past world road champions Alessandro Ballan and Thor Hushovd, three-time U.S. national road champion George Hincapie, reigning Swiss national time trial champion Martin Kohler, and past national time trial champions Taylor Phinney (U.S.) and Marco Pinotti (Italy).

In 2011 – its first season as a ProTeam – the BMC Racing Team won 12 races and finished fifth in the UCI WorldTour team standings. As a pro continental squad in 2010, the team achieved a number of successes, including leading both the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia in its first participation in both races. The BMC Racing Team was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Santa Rosa, Calif.
