About

Bontrager LIVESTRONG (formerly U23 Trek LIVESTRONG) was created by Lance Armstrong as a project to develop the next generation of elite cyclists in 2009. Under the leadership of ten-time Tour de France veteran Axel Merckx, son of the great Belgian Eddie Merckx, the team has developed nine riders to the WorldTour level to date including five-time world champion Taylor Phinney, former American champion Ben King, and British national time trial champion Alex Dowsett. The team continues to feature up-and-coming talent, including returning rider and American National Champion Nate Brown.

New to the roster are Belgian Junior National Time Trial Champion and Road Race Champion Jasper De Buyst, New Zealand National Time Trial Champion James Oram, Paris Roubaix Espoir podium finisher Jasper Stuyven, and testicular cancer survivor Connor O'Leary.

In an effort to support the team founder, Bontrager LIVESTRONG will proudly ride under the LIVESTRONG banner, joining the Lance Armstrong Foundation in their global fight against cancer.
