Jason McCartney signed a two-year contract with CSC this past Oct. for the 2008-09 seasons. The 34-year-old captured some well-deserved attention when he won a stage at the Vuelta a Espana in September, but Bjarne Riis already had him on his radar. Born in Hawaii, McCartney was raised in Iowa and turned pro in 2001. He's been racing in Europe since 2005 and looks forward to his new adventure with Team CSC.
