| 2007 Highlights: 31 National Racing Calendar victories, 5 UCI race victories, 63 total victories and 121 podium appearances overall, 1st overall in NRC team rankings. In 2008: North America’s top professional team, the Health Net Pro Cycling Team Presented by Maxxis has won the National Racing Calendar team title every year since 2004. Based in Oakland, CA, the team continued to perform at the top of the North American racing scene in 2007, while also finding success internationally, with its second consecutive overall victory at the Tour of Taiwan. In its pursuit of the overall title of the 2008 Amgen Tour of California, the team will be led by 2007 NRC Individual Points Champion Rory Sutherland (AUS), as well as new addition Phil Zajicek (USA). The team will look to improve their 11th place team classification finish from last year’s Tour of California.
