Accomplished time trialing specialist and climber, Ben Day, comes to the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team after spending a successful 2007 with the Navigators team. He has the proven ability to work effectively in past team environments, and adds to the growing number of Australians racing for the squad. He is known for his professional attitude and is highly motivated to have a successful professional cycling career. Ben is a former Australian Time Trial Champion, who obtained a 10th place finish in the World Time Trial Championship in 2003. Ben had a strong 2007 season highlighted by winning Stage 4a and the overall win in the difficult Tour De Beauce in Canada, as well as an 8th place overall finish in the Amgen Tour of California. Ben loves to travel and is proficient at speaking English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.
