  • Avila Beach is the smallest host city during the 2013 Amgen Tour – you can cover the charming town in a leisurely 15-minute stroll!
  • Visit the town’s Victorian-era Port San Luis Lighthouse on a guided hike.
  • Travel the paved Bob Jones Bike Trail – by bike or foot – past farmland and through streamside forests on a route that parallels shady San Luis Obispo Creek. Once in town, the trail connects to quiet Avila Beach Drive, which in two miles reaches waterfront restaurants and fish markets lining historic Harford Pier.
