Paso Robles, or “Pass of the Oaks”, is nestled in the coastal mountain range of central California, where the values and riches of the past are interwoven with the future. Located close to mountains, beaches, lakes and deserts, it is home to one of the United States’ greatest wine growing areas and an increasing number of hot springs resorts. Situated midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, it is also a gateway to thriving metropolitan areas north, south and east. Paso Robles has something for everyone, boasting the charm of a rural community that is rapidly developing as a distinct center for quality viticulture, cuisine and recreation.

Lining the city square and throughout downtown are over 20 restaurants with all levels of dining ‐ many utilizing locally produced and seasonal products that help showcase the local chef talent. Unique boutiques, including artisanal food shops and more than 10 winery tasting rooms are within a convenient stroll between each other. More than 200 wineries dot the countryside amongst Paso Robles’ 26,000 vineyard acres, offering the traveler an opportunity to discover the distinct and different wines of Paso Robles at every turn in the road.
