Breakaway Mile Registration
Amgen's Breakaway Mile in Santa Cruz, Modesto, Bakersfield and Thousand Oaks honors cancer survivors everywhere. Those touched by cancer – patients, survivors, caregivers and advocates – are invited to join in a one-mile (approximate) walk across the Amgen Tour of California finish line, prior to the professional riders rolling across the finish.Prior to walking in the Breakaway Mile, participants will have the opportunity to attend a special event and hear about valuable resources and services offered by Amgen’s Breakaway from Cancer nonprofit partners. And, after the Breakaway Mile, participants will be invited to view the race action from a reserved viewing area near the finish line.
