The mission of Ride 2 Recovery, a 501(c)3, is to improve the health and wellness of healing heroes through mental and physical rehabilitation programs that feature cycling as the core activity. The funds raised by R2R support outdoor cycling programs and Indoor Spinning Recovery Labs at Military and VA locations around the U.S., as well as local rides for healing heroes, all aimed at helping injured veterans overcome obstacles they face as part of their rehabilitation.
Funds also support the equipment donated to healing heroes participating in the events, including bikes that require modification due to injuries. www.ride2recovery.com

- San Jose, Saturday, April 12, 2014 – A beautiful ride is in store as we begin at Lake Cunningham Park and ride part of the ATOC route out toward Mt. Diablo. Don’t worry, for the more novice rider, we will adjust the routes to minimize the climbing!!! Expect 3 fantastic routes to choose from.
- Thousand Oaks, Saturday, May 3, 2014 – Finish like the pros in the Thousand Oaks and surrounding areas. In it’s third year, this Honor Ride will begin and end at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and traverse through Agoura Hills, up the Rock Store Climb and out to the coast on the longer route. A shorter, more flat route will also be available. Look for information on a time trial up the Rock Store Climb!!!
- Sacramento, Saturday, May 10, 2014 – We’ll start on the north side of the Capital and ride the circuit that the Tour cyclists will follow and then head out and enjoy scenic routes through the neighborhoods of Sacramento. This ride takes place the day before the start of the ATOC and will have lots of cool surprises.
