The Amgen Tour of California Women's Race empowered with SRAM is proud to be one of the biggest and most competitive female cycling races in the world. We took some time to reflect our top 5 favorite moments from the women's race.



1. Katie Hall climbs to victory in South Lake Tahoe - 2018

Katie Hall win secures the Amgen Tour of California title with a show of climbing strength in South Lake Tahoe, attacking over the Kingsbury grade with a single rider and dropping her on the final climb to the finish.




2. Anna van der Breggen takes the win with a sprint from behind - 2017

Down by one second, Anna van der Breggen comes from behind to win on the last stage of the race by successfully sprinting for an intermediate time bonus.




3. Kristin Armstrong trains for gold - 2011, 2012

Kristin Armstrong's first place victories in the the Amgen Tour of California Individual Time Trials in 2011 and 2012 set the stage for her eventual gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics. 




4. Amgen Tour of California breaks tradition - 2016

The women’s race features the only team time trial held in the history of the Amgen Tour of California




5. The Women's Race goes World Tour - 2016

The women’s race is featured on the inaugural Women’s World Tour calendar
